minced meat 'geschnetzeltes'

because of the high demand of this recipe in the last few month, i will finally tell you my secret recipe for 'minced meat'

ingredients for 4 hungry ones.

2 cups dried soy mince
4-5 cups hot water
1/4 cup shoyu = soya sauce
1 handful dried basil
1 lemon grass
2 onions or 1 bundle of spring onions
2 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 pinch chilli powder
1 pinch nutmeg
1 pinch cinnamon

preheat water in a kettle, in another bowl put the dry soy mince and add in the shoyu, pepper, chilli, nutmeg, cinnamon stir and then add the hot water and put the lid on and let it rest.

cut the lemon grass very fine and the onions also in fine half moons. heat up the coconut oil and fry the lemon grass for 1 minute and then add in the onions and fry until golden brown. add in the soaked soy mince, there will usually be some liquid still with it, which is good. let it simmer on a low flame for as long as the liquid is gone, about 15min:)

nb; add salt to your taste and some of the spices if you feel the need to spice it up:)
