a superfood in the true sense of the word - this great little addition to our morning smoothies has left us with noticeably more energy, more strength in our (power ;)) yoga sessions and general feeling of even deeper satiation. click here for a nice summary of what it's packed with, it's many benefits and some details about quantity. i look forward to more formal studies on maca, but it is widely agreed to increase libido, stamina and muscle mass during periods of training.. among many other things. all i'll say is that i would gladly offer myself as a subject in any experiment to help scientifically prove it! i certainly noticed some changes myself (i started adding it to my smoothie before i knew any of these things, so it can't have been placebo).
